Reporting somebody

Every post, reply, club message and room message has a menu with Report in it, and every profile has one too. Tell us which of the reasons fits and add a note if you want. Reports go to a person and are acted on within 24 hours — we take content down and we remove accounts.

Blocking somebody

Open their profile and choose Block. They disappear from your feed, your clubs’ channels and your search, and you from theirs. Neither of you can follow the other. Nobody is told. You can undo it in Settings.

Deleting your account

Settings → Account → Delete account, in the app or on the website. It happens immediately. See Privacy for exactly what goes.

A signed copy hasn’t arrived

Signed copies are shipped by the author or their bookseller. Write to us with the order and we will chase it.

A room won’t open

A room is only live while its host is in it. If the host has not arrived, the app puts you in a waiting room and lets you in the moment they do. If you cannot hear anything, check that Dogear has permission to use the microphone in iOS Settings.
